Carolyn Boteler, President and CEO
Carolyn Boteler has a distinguished record as both a civic leader and a business trailblazer. The most recent feather in her cap was being recognized, in 2007, as one of Enterprising Women Magazine's "Women of the Year."
That's in addition to being named one of Mississippi's 50 leading businesswomen by the Mississippi Business Journal. In 2005 she was cited as a leading CEO in the first edition of "Who's Who in Mississippi Business."
Even Governor Haley Barbour has noticed Boteler's commitment to the business community. In 2004, he selected her to serve on the board of Momentum Mississippi, a committee formed to improve the state's economic outlook by expanding employment opportunities.
A member of the Metro Jackson Chamber Board of Directors, Boteler is a past president of the Rankin Chamber of Commerce and now resides as an active member. In 2006, she was appointed to the board of directors of the Gulf Coast Council for the Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBENC).
She's also a past president of TempNet, the international association of independent staffing services, which represents more than 250 markets in the United States and Canada.
Boteler served on the Rankin County School Board for eight years, including a term as president. In 2001, she was chosen to serve on the statewide steering committee of the No Child Left Behind Act.
A sought-after motivational speaker, Boteler frequently addresses such groups as Leadership Jackson and The Mississippi Development Authority. In 2004, she was honored as volunteer of the year by the City of Richland.
